Pedestrian (20s) hospitalised following collision in north Dublin

The incident happened at around 6pm this evening.

A MAN IN his 20s has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a vehicle in north Dublin.

The incident happened on the Coast Road in Malahide approximately 6pm this evening.

It is believed that the man may have stepped into the path of a passing vehicle.

Emergency services attended the scene, before the man was taken to Beaumont Hospital.

A garda spokeswoman said the man’s injuries were not life-threatening.
