34 great photos from St Patrick's Day parades around the country

Tens of thousands of people turned out on the streets around Ireland today.

THE WEATHER WAS a bit rubbish at times, but that didn’t stop proceedings.

Tens of thousands of people have taken to the streets around Ireland to celebrate all things to do with St Patrick – or, at least, to wear something green, watch a parade, take some pics and maybe even have some craic.

We’ve gone through all the photos from the day and picked out our favourites.

Let’s start with the biggest. Tens of thousands of people lined the streets of Dublin city centre to take in the country’s largest parade

Galway saw big crowds in the city centre

Some people had an early start in Kerry. Dingle had the first parade of the day, kicking off at 6am

Meanwhile, outside of Ireland, Marbella had its own Patrick’s Day festival, where several thousand people turned out in the heat (we’re very, very jealous)
