Police investigate after woman's body discovered overnight

The body of the woman in her 50s was discovered in Fermanagh at around 1.40am. The PSNI is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.

POLICE IN NORTHERN Ireland are investigating after the body of a woman in her 50s was found in Co Fermanagh overnight.

The PSNI has said the woman’s body was discovered in the Cornagrade Road area at around 1.40am.

Police have asked anyone who may have seen the woman in the area between 8.20pm last night and 1.30am this morning to contact them at Enniskillen station. When last seen the woman was wearing a grey jacket over a pink hooded top.

The Cornagrade Road from Factory Road and Derrin Road towards Enniskillen and from Johnston roundabout is currently closed and the PSNI have advised the public to avoid the area.
