STOCKBROKERS GOODBODY warned today that, despite Ireland’s recovery, it is not the time to cut back on austerity just yet.

However the ESRI said last week that €2 billion in planned budget cuts can be avoided if growth continues this year and, apart from introducing water charges, the government will have to do little to hit targets.

We want to know what you think: Is it time to ease off on austerity?

Poll Results:

Yes (3008)
No (897)
I'm not sure (350)
