A RECENT STUDY by the NGO Pesticide Action Network revealed high levels of the toxic ‘forever chemical’ trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) in certain certain foods in Europe.

The research identified particularly high levels of TFA in some wheat-based breakfast cereals bought in Irish supermarkets.

The Irish food safety regulator is now considering whether to test food for the toxic chemical.

Irish people are big consumers of breakfast cereals of various kinds. But what about you?
