Poll: Have you ever climbed Croagh Patrick?

Thousands are to scale the mountain today in celebration of Reek Sunday.

THOUSANDS OF PILGRIMS have today made the journey to Ireland’s holiest mountain, Croagh Patrick, in celebration of Reek Sunday.

In honour of St. Patrick, pilgrims are scaling the mountain, many of whom will be barefoot. They pray for special intentions or as an act of penance on the climb.

Circuits of certain sites on the mountain are performed, and the climb culminates in a mass at the summit of the mountain, which is conducted hourly from 8:00am to 2:00pm.

So today we want to know: Have you ever climbed Croagh Patrick?
