Poll: Will you watch the Budget announcement?

The time has come to unveil the Budget – but will you watch the action unfold?

THE TIME HAS COME: the Budget for the coming year is due to be unveiled.

Breaking with tradition this year, the announcement will be given over two days instead of the usual one; and while yesterday saw changes to public expenditure unveiled, taxation measures will be outlined today by the Minister for Finance.

The public have been forewarned about many details of today’s announcement, including an additional 2 per cent being added to the VAT rate and likely changes to carbon tax and property-related tax.

Proceedings on the second day of Budget announcements will kick off at 3.45pm this afternoon, but we’d like to know – will you watch the action unfold?
