IT’S BEEN A tense week for British politics as the battle to replace David Cameron got underway.
After voting by Conservative party members, the candidates have been whittled down to two women: Theresa May and Andrea Leadsom.
Bookies say that the more experienced May is the favourite, though Leadsom has more grassroots support. May is seen as a safe pair of hands – though she has had her moments of controversy within the party - while Leadsom is a fresh face, but her lack of experience could also see her losing votes.
