RAF jets being sent towards Russian bombers 'heading for UK airspace'

The Ministry of Defence confirmed the news.

RAF TYPHOON JETS have been scrambled to intercept two Russian bombers that are said to be heading towards UK airspace.

The BBC reports that the UK’s Ministry of Defence confirmed the news this afternoon.

Airspace is usually 22.2km from a nation’s coastline, under international law.
