Going, going, gone: Criminal Assets Bureau sells Rolex on eBay for €8,200
The last watch the CAB sold on the auction website went for €7,000.
A ROLEX WATCH put up for sale on eBay by the Criminal Assets Bureau has sold for €8,200.
This is the second time in recent months that CAB, which investigates the proceeds of crime, has put an expensive watch up for sale on the site. The last time, a ladies Rolex watch sold for €7,000.
This time around the winning bid on the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, made of steel and yellow gold, was €8,200, with bidding ending on Sunday.
As with all auctions of confiscated items, proceeds will go back to the Exchequer.
