One person injured following shooting in Dublin

The incident happened shortly before 5pm this evening near Corduff Shopping Centre.

ONE PERSON HAS been injured in a shooting incident near a shopping centre in Dublin 15.

The incident happened shortly before 5pm this evening at Corduff Shopping Centre. It is understood to be linked to a local feud in the area

The victim, a man aged in his 40s, was taken from the scene for treatment on his injuries, which are believed to be non-life threatening. There was a large emergency services response to the incident.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are still ongoing. A spokesperson for gardaí said investigators are appealing for more information about the incident.

Any persons or road users who may have camera footage, including video from dashcams, who were travelling in the area between 4.20pm and 5.20pm, are asked to make their footage available to gardaí.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 01 666 7000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station,” the spokesperson said.
