A STATUS YELLOW rain warning has been issued for four counties, as Met Éireann warns of difficult driving conditions.
The warning covers counties Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo, and Sligo.
It will come into effect at 9pm this evening and will expire at 9pm tomorrow.
These counties should expect heavy or thundery rain turning showery starting tonight. There likely will also be some hail showers.
They could cause spot flooding and difficult travelling conditions.
A fog warning for 11 counties that began this morning expired at 10am this morning.
