Suspected firearm found in Belfast security alert

A SUSPECTED FIREARM has been confiscated by police in Belfast following a security alert in the south side of the city last night. A number of homes were evacuated during the alert in the Stanmillis area on Saturday after army bomb disposal officers were called, RTÉ reports.
