3. #GAMING: Microsoft’s Kinect for the Xbox 360 has set a new record, according to Guinness World Records, for the fastest selling device ever. Over 10m Kinect units were sold worldwide within 60 days of its launch.

4. #MEMORY: The public has been asked to participate in a Science Gallery exhibition which will help researchers gather information on memory.

5. #FESTIVAL: The line-up for this year’s Electric Picnic festival has been unveiled. Although the list was due to be released today, the festival’s promoter LHP told earlier that a hacker had published them ahead of time – on the EP’s own website.
