1. #CYSTIC FIBROSIS: An announcement by Health Minister James Reilly that a long-delayed new unit in St Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin will only have 20 dedicated inpatient rooms for vulnerable CF patients is causing huge concern. An expert medical group has consistently concluded that a unit with at least 34 dedicated rooms is vital.
2. #R.I.P.: The body of a woman in her 40s was found in a house in Cabra this morning – the State Pathologist was called to the scene in north Dublin.
3. #DAIL EIREANN: Fianna Fail leader Micheál Martin has prompted Taoiseach Enda Kenny into retracting criticism he levelled against the government press office while Fine Gael were still in opposition. References to the Yes, Minister television series abounded during the Dail session.
