A TEENAGER HAS been charged in connection with the death of Irish Rail employee Ian Walsh in Tipperary.
Mr. Walsh (49) was found dead in Carrick-on-Suir in the early hours of 5 August.
His body was discovered by relatives at his home in Ravenswood in Cregg Road.
Yesterday, gardaí arrested an adult male, aged in his late teens.
He has since been charged and is expected to appear before a special sitting of Clonmel District Court this afternoon.
Ian Walsh was well-liked by his colleagues in Irish Rail and by railway enthusiasts around the country.
