Two more teens arrested after woman threatened at home with knives

A teenager was charged in court over the incident earlier this month.

TWO MORE TEENAGERS have been arrested in connection with an incident during which a woman was threatened in a house in Dublin.

The incident occurred at a house in Citywest earlier this month. The woman was threatened and assaulted by five men with knives.

The men fled the scene with a car taken from the house and what gardaí described as a “substantial” amount of cash.

The woman was alone in the house at the time. She did not require medical attention after the incident.

The vehicle was later found in the Glenshane area near Tallaght.

On 12 November, a 17-year-old was charged over the incident.

Today, gardaí in Tallaght said they arrested two males, aged 16 and 17, in Tallaght yesterday.

They were detained under the provisions of section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, as amended, in Tallaght.

One male (17) was released without charge and the second male (16) was charged and will appear before court this morning.
