POLICE IN NORTHERN Ireland have been granted permission to question four people arrested on Saturday for another five days.
PSNI officers said the three men and one woman were arrested in Carrickmore, Omagh, Toome and Pomeroy on Saturday as part of an investigation into dissident republican activity.
Aged 33, 34, 46 and 47, the three males and one female are being interviewed at the Serious Crime Suite in Antrim police station.
Also on Saturday, a 45-year-old man was arrested in the Cookstown area following a number of searches and car seizures.
