1. A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of his mother in their Dún Laoghaire home.
2. The trial of Graham Dwyer began today and could last up to eight weeks. Dwyer has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Elaine O’Hara.
3. Rail services have been suspended after a man’s body was discovered near the Cork rail line.
4. The marriage equality debate is stepping up as the wording of the vote was announced yesterday. Journalist and patron of Iona Institute Breda O’Brien asked ‘Should we change the Constitution to allow grandmothers and their daughters to marry?‘ when questioned about her views this morning.
5. There was a queue of people waiting to use Dublin’s new homeless café when it opened last night.
6. It looks like The Sun’s Page 3 is back after it published a photograph of a topless woman on Page 3 for the first time since last Friday.
