It is understood the owner is offering a monetary reward for information that leads to the recovery of his machinery.

POLICE IN ARMAGH are appealing for information following the theft of a tractor trailer from a property on Newtownhamilton Road.

Some time between 2.30pm on 26 January and 10am on 27 January an 18ft PC Engineering aluminium cattle trailer was taken. It is believed it was driven over fields towards Seagahan Dam.

It is understood the owner is offering a monetary reward for information that leads to the recovery of his machinery.

Yesterday the PSNI issued an appeal in relation to another trailer which was stolen in Rathfriland on 12 February. This time it was a silver aluminium Crooks trailer with a blue roof and hooks to the left side was taken. The trailer is very distinctive and had an 8ft gap on the left side when it was taken. It also has two triangular stickers to the rear.

Police are appealing to anyone who has information about the theft or whereabouts of the two trailers to contact them on 0845 600 8000. If you prefer to provide information without giving your details you can contact the independent Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
