TRANSPORT FOR IRELAND has announced that the Leap Card zone for rail tickets is being extended to a 50km radius starting next Monday, 28 April.
Passengers on shorter train journeys in Dublin have been able to use their Leap Card, while those from towns further out in the commuter belt have had to buy tickets.
The extension of the Leap Card zone now includes areas such as Drogheda, Rathdrum and Kildare town.
So today we’re asking: When was the last time you were on a train?
