An Irish artist has issued a timely reminder to Americans ahead of St Patrick's Day

Know your Paddys from your patties.

A FEW YEARS AGO Ireland decided to man up and inform Americans that it’s actually Paddy’s Day, not Patty’s Day.

Ever since then, a few dedicated souls have fought to keep them from slipping back into their old ways.

Maria of TwistedDoodles has whipped up a handy guide to knowing your Paddys from your patties, and we think it’ll help many people next Thursday.
