Man (61) and woman (57) charged in connection with historical sexual offences

Both are due to appear before court in Newry on 24 April.

POLICE IN NORTHERN Ireland have arrested two people over historical sexual offences.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said a man (61) was charged for non-recent sexual offences.

The statement added that a woman (57) faces charges of aiding and abetting additional offences.

Both are due to appear before court in Newry on 24 April.
