Two men injured in early morning shooting in Dublin

The men, both in their twenties, were found on Balbutcher Lane in Ballymun with leg wounds.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN are investigating an incident that left two men with gunshot wounds to their legs early this morning

The incident is believed to have occurred at around 1am. The two men, both 22, were found on Balbutcher Lane in Ballymun with what appeared to be gunshot wounds.

The men were taken to the Mater Hospital and Beaumont Hospital separately. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Gardaí in Ballymun are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 01 666 4400, or on the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
