This is what it's like to eat the world's hottest chilli pepper

THE CAROLINA REAPER is the hottest chilli pepper in the world.

The small, shrivelled-looking pepper is around 200 times hotter than a jalapeño pepper – so what’s it like to actually eat one?

Eight people/masochists volunteered to try eating a whole one for a video, and their reactions look painful (“Are you crying? I’m crying”. “It feels like hornets are stinging my mouth”).

Even the one guy who looks like he’s able to handle it has to confess at the end of the video that he just got sick afterwards.

It’s painful just watching them.
