THE IRISH VOLUNTEERS Commemorative Organisation (IVO) announced it will display an exhibition of Irish War of Independence memorabilia to mark the 1oo year anniversary of The Fianna Convention of 1912.
The exhibition will take place at the Teachers Club in Parnell Square, Dublin on Saturday 27 October.
Na Fianna Eireann, or The Irish National Boy Scouts, was founded by Madame Markievicz, Con Colbert, Eamon Martin and other republicans in 1909.

On display at the exhibition will be medals, uniforms, documents and other items from the period and members from the organisation will be on hand to answer any questions from the public.
The event is open to the public from 11am to 6pm and entry is €5 per person with family tickets available for €10.
The IVO told TheJournal.ie that many new items have been added to the organisation's collection for this exhibition but here's a sample of what will be on display...
