LOOK, NOBODY SAY anything. We don’t want to scare it away.
Things have been pretty awful weather-wise over the past month. Metereological reports had been reduced to weather people basically apologising to us for the never-ending gloom.
But things have changed.
If you look out the nearest window, you’ll see the sun shining bravely through the clouds. Met Éireann tells us that the temperature is currently a balmy 9 degrees. It isn’t even raining (much).
IT’S A SPRING DAY, PEOPLE. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.
Met Éireann says that there will be rain showers in many places later today BUT there will also be good bright sunny spells. Sunny spells. Are there any sweeter words in the English language?
Screw you, weather. We win this round.
Later we’re going to go out without a coat and immediately regret the decision.
