Fancy an ‘Island Wildlife Weekend’? A weekend of outdoor adventure is taking place on five of Ireland’s wild Atlantic islands – and all events are free. Tory Island, off the north-west coast of Donegal, will be hosting evenings of céilí music, a ‘bat walk’ and introductions to the island’s flora and fauna.

The island can be reached by ferry from the towns of Bunbeg and Magheroarty. The events will run all day today and Sunday. A full list of activities and times can be found here.
