Man dies after falling from boat in Wexford Harbour

The man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene.

A MAN HAS died after being pulled from the water at Wexford Harbour this evening.

The man who is his late 50s was removed from the water by Wexford RNLI and was pronounced dead.

It is believed the man was working on a boat and may have slipped into the water. He was not wearing a lifejacket at the time.

Rescuers say the man could have been in the water for over an hour before being recovered shortly before 6pm.
