So leaving the scene of an accident and a hit and run at that, doesn’t Require an immediate custodial sentence. When you ‘soften’ the law to that extent, it starts to become a joke. The victim is being forgotten. It’s all about the rights of the ‘criminal’
1)My understanding is that he handed himself in. 2)I realise that a court case has to follow and based on 1) if he did hand himself in or he admitted the crime, there should be legislation there to lock him up straight away, under dangerous driving and leaving the scene of an accident.
