AN ELDERLY WOMAN has died after the car in which she was travelling collided with a truck in Co Wexford.
The incident occurred at Ballyloughan, Arklow Road, Gorey at about 3.20pm today.
The female driver was the sole occupant of the car.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. No other people were injured.
The Garda Press Office was unable to confirm the woman’s age.
The stretch of road is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
