Woman (60s) dies following single-vehicle crash in Cork
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
A WOMAN HAS died following a single-vehicle collision in Co Cork this afternoon.
The crash occurred at around 1.50pm in the Dunkettle Ballinglanna area of Glanmire, Co. Cork.
The driver of the vehicle, a woman in her 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road remains closed as gardaí conduct a technical examination.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Mayfield Garda Station on 021 4558510 the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station,” a garda spokesperson said.
“Investigations are ongoing,” they added.
