THE DUBLIN CIRCUS Convention took place this weekend with participants getting involved in juggling, acrobatics and other circus arts at events around the city.
The convention, an annual event now in its twelfth year, finished this evening with a giant Toss Up – yes, that’s what it’s called – on Cathal Brugha Street in the city centre.
This picture shows participants throwing juggling clubs, hoops, balloons and balls up into the air – and the inevitable moment when gravity kicked in. Ouch.
