Police trying to trace movements of young man killed in 'frenzied' stab attack
A man and woman were arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder.

POLICE IN BELFAST investigating the murder of a 23-year-old man whose body was found in the boot of a car yesterday morning have issued a fresh appeal for information.
Officers confirmed today that Kyle Neil, from the north of the city, attended a party in the town of Comber, outside Belfast on Saturday night. The event was at Church Gate studio apartments, in Mill Street in the town.
His body was found in the blue Ford Fiesta car pictured here yesterday morning at 7.30am, at Windsor Road.
A 26-year-old man and a 25-year-old man who were arrested at Windsor Road yesterday morning remain in custody.
“We are following a number of definite lines of enquiry. A post mortem examination is due to take place but I can confirm that Mr Neil had been stabbed,” Detective Chief Inspector John McVea, said.
He described it as a “frenzied attack”.
McVea said police were appealing for information about Kyle’s movements on Saturday, and the movements of the car in which his body was found.
“I want to hear from anyone who saw Mr Neil, who was from north Belfast, at any time on Saturday during the day or that evening when he was in Comber.”
“I also want to speak to anyone who saw the blue Ford Fiesta car, registration number HJZ 2135, between the hours of 2am and 7am on Sunday morning in the Comber area, possibly at the Island Hill tourist amenity car park on the shore of Strangford Lough between Comber and Newtownards and anywhere between Comber and Windsor Road which is off the Lisburn Road in south Belfast.”
“An incident room has been set up in Newtownards police station and I would appeal to anyone who can help with our appeal points or who has information which they think is relevant to contact us on 028 9180 1507.
“Alternatively, people who do not wish to provide their details can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
The Belfast Telegraph reports the young father-of-one died after had been treated in hospital last week for head and back injuries after allegedly being beaten with a bat.
