Clontarf GAA jersey on globetrotting tour of Barbados, Canada... and Dingle

A unique challenge was thrown down and several players, past and present, accepted.

FOR ANYONE THAT has ever been to a bar in Sydney, you will know that feeling of being back home in Ireland the moment you see 26 lads surrounding a few bar tables in their county colours.

Clontarf GAA has hit upon that Irish spirit by setting its players and supporters a unique challenge of displaying their club jersey from whatever corner of the globe, or Dingle, they find themselves.

The Cluain Tarbh World Tour was kicked off in July and has already received some impressive responses.

A spokesperson from the Dublin club told TheScore.ie, “Already we’ve seen the famous geansaí dearg on beaches in Barbados and Thailand and on
the Las Vegas strip. The water resistance of our training tops was put to the test on the water at Niagara Falls and our mentors jacket made an
appearance in the dugout at Parkhead, the home of Glasgow Celtic.”

This jersey has a great view of beach affairs from Thailand:

The club are tracking jersey sightings and marking them down on Google Maps:

Before anyone responds ‘Raheny’, can anyone top Thailand, Barbados or Las Vegas?
