Woman killed after being hit by lorry at Heuston Station
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A WOMAN HAS died after a tragic incident at Heuston Station this afternoon.
The pedestrian was killed when she was hit by an articulated lorry.
It happened at Heuston Station, Dublin 8 at about 4.20pm this afternoon.
She was pronounced dead at the scene and her body has been removed to the City Morgue.
Gardai in Kilmainham are now investigating the fatal collision.
The road into Heuston Station near Victoria Quay was closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators but has since reopened.
