Garda investigation after woman stabbed in Waterford

The incident happened in the early hours of this morning.

GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING for witnesses after a woman was stabbed in the Dungarvan area of Waterford this morning.

She was brought to hospital and is being treated for what gardaí have described as “non life-threatening” injuries.

Emergency services were called to the Thompson Lane area of Dungarvan at around 3am this morning.

Gardaí said that investigations are ongoing. They are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
