Driver taken to court after gardaí found bench warrant while checking van parked on footpath

While checking the van, gardaí discovered the driver had a live bench warrant.

A DRIVER WAS taken to court this afternoon after gardaí discovered a live bench warrant for the driver when they spotted a van that was parked on double yellow lines.

Gardaí say the van was parked on a footpath and causing an obstruction at Roxboro Road in Limerick.

A check revealed that the driver of the van had a live bench warrant and the motorist was arrested and taken to Limerick District Court.
