Going home for Christmas? Here's when the last buses, trams and trains are tonight

We got you covered.

SOME OF YOU may already be on your Christmas holliers but others will be working to the bitter end and if you want to get home on public transport here’s what you need to know.

Dublin Bus services are operating a Saturday service on all routes but buses will be stopping at 9pm tonight so if you’re doing a bit of shopping after work keep that in mind.

Nitelinks and the various tour buses (City Tour, Ghostbus and Coastal) will not be in operation tonight.

And as helpful commenter Dave Murray points out the last 747 buses to and from Dublin Airport depart at 11.30pm

Irish Rail says that its DART and Commuter services are operating to a Saturday schedule and says that all trains will cease at 9pm tonight.

You should check your individual route for exact details. Sorry, but this is all we can think of right now:

The Luas is operating a normal Wednesday service but the last tram leaves at 8pm.

Bus Éireann says that all its cross-channel services are cancelled but that a normal Wednesday service is in operation.

However there are A LOT of exceptions with all of the following services cancelled:

Here’s the full list of cancelled services on the Bus Éireann website.

So if none of that suits your plans then we’re afraid it’s gotta be this:
