Thieves steal 50 TVs from Dublin shopping centre

Gardai have urged the public to get in touch if they have any information.

GARDAI ARE INVESTIGATING a burglary in which around 50 TVs were stolen from a shop in Lucan retail park in the early hours of Thursday morning.

At around 1.50am, a car with ladders on the roof and a black van entered the car park. A number of suspects took around 50 TVs and a safe containing a small amount of cash.

A garda spokeswoman said officers are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the Lucan retail park area between the hours of 1.30am and 3.30am to contact them at Lucan Garda Station on 666-7300.

The spokeswoman added: “During the course of this burglary a number of TVs were taken and we would again ask the public to contact Gardaí if they have any information or are offered a TV for sale.”
