Two to appear in court over murder of senior citizen

The pair – said to be siblings – will appear in court in Dublin at 10.30am today.

A MAN AND a woman – said to be a brother and sister – are to appear in court this morning charged in connection with the death of a man at a senior citizens complex.

Gardaí said that the woman, who is in her 30s, and the man, who is in his 20s, will appear in court in Dublin.

They are due to appear at Dublin District Court this morning, charged in relation to the death of Thomas Horan (63), of Cambridge Court, Ringsend, Dublin 4.

The body of Thomas Horan was discovered at Cambridge Court on Monday morning. A post-mortem revealed that he had died as a result of internal injuries, leading to gardaí launching a murder investigation.

Within days, gardaí had made two arrests and charged the two people.
