SCIENTISTS IN AUSTRALIA are working on what might be the most popular research going at the moment. They are trying to develop a condom that provides more pleasure than wearing nothing at all.

Researchers have been tasked with coming up with the next generation condom, with funding from the Bill & Melissa Gates Foundation.

They are experimenting with new tough hydrogel materials to create a condom that can “enhance and preserve pleasure”.

Dr Robert Gorkin explained the materials can be made to act, feel and look like real skin.

If it works out, the end product will self-lubricate, deliver a small dose of Viagra and will biodegrade in the long term.

The next step in this project now is biometric testing, looking at brain activity to see whether it really feels better than latex, or nothing at all.

Researchers say they want to make these condoms so pleasurable that people can’t wait to put them on, so more people will use them and it will stop the spread of disease.
