Poll: Have you paid the Household Charge?

The first letters reminding householders to pay the charge have been sent out. Have you paid?

THE FIRST SET OF letters to householders who have not paid the €100 Household Charge are set to start arriving at homes around the country today.

A second letter will be sent at a later point to non-paying households warning them of the penalties of not paying, while a third will warn of court action if the payment hasn’t been made within a given length of time.

To date, just over 957,700 properties have been registered to pay the charge and a further 17,600 have registered for a waiver.
