IT SEEMS WORKERS with recycling company Panda have a bit of an altruistic side to them.

Last year a worker found €3,000, and was able to return it to its rightful owner.

Now another employee has found €1,500 – this time hidden in a shoe.

Costica Nedelcu found the wad of cash while working at Panda’s recycling centre.

According to the company, it was returned to its rightful owner soon afterwards – a woman with Alzheimer’s who had hidden the money in a shoe for safe-keeping.

It had inadvertently been thrown out when the woman’s daughter was cleaning out her house.
