Christmas Day shooting: Gardaí investigate after shots fired at house in Beaumont

Four adults and one teenager were inside at the time. The shooting happened shortly after 11pm.

GARDAÍ IN CLONTARF, north Dublin, are investigating after shots were fired at a house in Beaumont overnight.

The incident happened at a house on Whitethorn Close at around 11.10pm, a spokesperson for the force said.

Three adults and one teenager were inside at the time, but were unharmed.

A window was broken, and there was also some damage to masonry on the outside of the house.

The scene remains sealed off today, as investigations take place.

A local told TheJournal.ie he heard five loud bangs in the area last night.
