MICK WALLACE HAS given a statement to the Dáil in relation to his tax affairs following revelations that his construction company under-declared VAT owed to the Revenue.

He apologised to the people of Ireland and pledged half of his Dáil salary to the repayments of the VAT liability owed by the now insolvent company.
