All of these robberies in the past week, I think some of the bogey’s are trying to recoup some of their money that was lost with that big cocaine bust 2 weeks ago….
Seems that way to me. Lots of heads lost lots of money. Colombians insist on getting paid!
I’d say lives are on the line over this, maybe the lower echelon of criminals are running scared from the bigger guys, and looking for money quick!

Please stop getting at these poor armed robbers. They have no doubt had a bad start in life, living in a cardboard box and abused daily by their parent who was and still is unemployed and does not see the need to look for a job. Their grandparent was also unemployed. The robbers have no jobs because they are so depressed with the start they have had in life that they just cannot seem to be able to get out of bed in the morning. The solution to the awful crime situation is simple. Rehabilitate the thugs (sorry, “lads”) with special one to one tuition of how to manage their new found wealth, where to go on holiday, what yachts to buy, which Lamborghini, etc., then round up all the decent (sorry, “lucky”, “silver spoon merchants”) who work hard to keep their families (“idiots” that they are) and intern them all – after asset stripping them of course, and handing said assets over to the “lads” who now know best how to handle such wealth. Result? All the non lads will be safe inside prison walls – safe from the lads who will now be free to roam the streets, robbing and spending their money without fear of being stopped by anybody, even by the Gardaí whose numbers have been decimated. Oops, sorry, that would mean nothing has changed. Back to the drawing board! Éamonn, Dublin.

These robberies are all from cash in transit vans. Maybe they should use berlingo vans instead??
