1. #GREYHOUND: Supporters of striking Greyhound workers faced off with those who have been passing the picket as the company took nine employees and a councillor to court for contempt.

3. #MH17: A preliminary report on the Malaysia Airlines crash found the plane broke up in the air over Ukraine after being pierced by ‘high-energy objects’.

4. #RUN BADGER RUN: The Department of Agriculture has put out a tender for 25,000 badger body bags as part of the TB eradication programme which involves the culling of over 5,000 badgers a year.

5. #FAMOUS: Today FM’s Tony Fenton, RTÉ Radio One’s Áine Lawlor, MidWest Radio’s Paul Claffey and Walter Love from BBC Radio Ulster were all inducted into the radio Hall of Fame.
