4. #ROADS: A woman in her 50s has died after the car she was driving hit a wall in Moycullen, Co. Galway overnight.

5. #EBOLA: The World Health Organisation has said that the ebola outbreak is “moving faster than our efforts to control it”.

6. #IBRC: Even though it is trying to reduce its legal costs, the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation is currently involved in over a thousand legal cases.

7. #RACISM: After a report criticised the gardaí for their handling of racism cases, the force is encouraging people to come forward and speak to them if they are victims.

8. #CHINA: An explosion at a factory in the Chinese city of Kunshan has killed 65 people and injured 150.

9. #THE CHURCH: British pub chain JD Wetherspoon is considering buying The Church Bar and Restaurant on Dublin’s Mary St according to The Irish Times.
