Do you think it's okay for politicians to use AI to write their speeches?

Cork’s Lord Mayor Fergal Dennehy said he’s a fan of using AI to help his writing process.

THE LORD MAYOR of Cork revealed this week that he is increasingly using artificial intelligence (AI) to write his speeches.

The Irish Examiner reported on Wednesday that Fergal Dennehy acknowledged this after giving an AI-generated speech at a data centre in Cork city. 

“In the past, I would have spent hours and hours writing, but my job is to represent the people of Cork, and I want to do my very best at doing that,” he told the paper, adding he’s not the only elected representative using it to save time.
